coloRush: the colour forecast book series designed by eiermann + hattenkerl

The new ColoRush is born! The active colour forecast for s/s 2012!

We want to draw your attention to the variety of responsible design and production, without sounding missionary. We definitely don't want to see eco-looking products in the traditional sense but great modern products with sustainable concept.

Don't wait until your customers ask for it, but take on the responsibility and offer items with this added value. It is an easy decision to support people and companies who do make an effort to improve their products and processes to communicate it!

It is crucial for the designer to know about materials and how to use them to give the right consultation to his or her clients and push them further into the direction of ecological awareness. It is not about changing a brand at once, it is about getting started somewhere: material, saving on energy in production and logistics, ecofriendly dying, recyclability – every little bit makes a difference!

Sustainability at every link of the textile chain is not a trend anymore - it is a standard we should achieve!
